Job Description

Seeking a skilled imaging professional with expertise in X-ray technology to fill a contract position. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • State licensure, if required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating X-ray equipment
  • Thorough understanding of imaging protocols and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

Schedule/Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct X-ray imaging exams according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and support
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring images of diagnostic quality
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information in electronic medical records
  • Observe all safety standards for radiation protection and infection control
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
