Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced diagnostic imaging professional specializing in X-ray technology. This role involves working in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment, providing essential diagnostic imaging services primarily for the Emergency Department and inpatient units. Experience in Level 1 Trauma settings is required, with a preference for candidates who have surgery experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general diagnostic X-ray exams efficiently and accurately
  • Provide imaging support for trauma and emergency cases in a Level 1 Trauma environment
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results
  • Maintain patient safety and care standards during imaging procedures
  • Utilize Epic for charting and documentation
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and participate in ongoing departmental initiatives

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum one year of X-ray imaging experience; first-time professionals accepted
  • Level 1 Trauma experience required; surgical imaging experience preferred
  • Certification in BLS and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
  • Ability to work variable start times (7:00 am, 7:30 am, 8:00 am) and every third weekend rotation
  • No on-call or floating responsibilities

Schedule:

  • 72 hours per pay period
  • 5 or 4 shifts per week, 8 hours each (day shift: 7:00 am 3:30 pm)
