Job Description

Seeking an experienced Imaging professional proficient in X-ray to support a dynamic, high-volume hospital environment specializing in comprehensive trauma care. This contract role calls for expertise in a fast-paced setting with exposure to a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric ER, OR, endoscopy, NICU, and day surgery.

Schedule:

• 1x9.5 hours: 8:00 PM 5:30 AM (Friday night)
• 2x12 hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (Saturday and Sunday nights)
• 33.5 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (2 years strongly preferred)
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications
• Skilled with PACS, portable X-rays, C-Arm, and use of contrast media
• Demonstrated experience in OR and fluoroscopy imaging
• Proficient with EPIC (Interlad experience preferred)
• First-time travelers welcome

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform and support over 250 imaging exams daily across the hospital, including at least 100 portable exams
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in trauma response, surgery, NICU, and various procedural suites
• Conduct and assist in specialized fluoroscopy procedures: lumbar punctures, myelograms, and GI studies
• Support imaging needs for orthopedic, neurological, and urological surgeries utilizing advanced imaging equipment (Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, Phillips X-ray, GE OEC C-arms, and O-arm)
• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and quality standards
• Effectively document procedures and maintain patient data in EPIC
