Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Valid state license (if required)
• Proven experience performing diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures
• Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment, safety protocols, and patient positioning techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a collaborative team
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality images
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment; specifics regarding hours and shift details to be provided during screening

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray equipment to capture images as ordered by medical providers
• Position patients appropriately and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient and exam records in accordance with department policies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
• Adhere to all regulatory and facility guidelines regarding radiation safety and infection control
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly
• Maintain clean and well-stocked imaging rooms
