Step into an advanced imaging environment, supporting a high-volume, state-of-the-art hospital serving a wide range of patient populations. This contract position requires a dedicated X-ray technologist with strong technical abilities and a commitment to patient safety. You will handle a varied caseload within a Level II trauma center, working closely with dedicated teams throughout the facility, including the emergency, operating, endoscopy, and pediatric departments.

Schedule:

• 33.5-hour contract per week
• 1 shift of 9.5 hours: Friday, 8:00 pm 5:30 am (Night)
• 2 shifts of 12 hours: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 pm 7:30 am (Nights)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in X-ray imaging (2+ years strongly preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) credential
• Experience with PACS, portable X-rays, C-Arm, and administering contrast media
• EPIC EMR proficiency required; Interlad experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome

Responsibilities:

• Perform a high volume of radiologic exams including X-ray, fluoroscopy (lumbar punctures, myelograms, swallowing studies), and operating room imaging (orthopedic, neuro, and general surgeries)
• Operate a variety of imaging equipment (Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, Philips, GE OEC c-arms, O-arm)
• Assist in trauma stabilization, supporting all hospital departments including NICU, ED, and surgical services
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital standards
• Respond quickly to emergent cases in a fast-paced central imaging department
