Job Description
This opportunity offers a skilled imaging professional the chance to perform diagnostic X-rays within diverse and dynamic clinical environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and be comfortable working across multiple settings including the operating room (OR), emergency department (ED), inpatient units, and portable imaging assignments. Flexibility and adaptability to support different areas of the hospital as needed are essential.
Key responsibilities include evaluating image quality to ensure technical accuracy and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver timely diagnostic imaging services. The role also involves working with students, providing mentorship, and performing competency assessments.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center or 2-3 years at a large trauma Level 2 facility
- Experience working in the OR and performing general X-ray imaging
- Ability and willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging
- Valid BLS certification
- ARRT certification required
- Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as EPIC and Sectra
- Experience operating GE, Philips, and CareStream imaging equipment
Schedule:
- Night shift, 11:00 PM to 9:30 AM, Tuesday through Friday
