Step into an essential role in diagnostic imaging as a skilled X-ray Technologist, where youll contribute directly to patient care and medical team efficiency. This contract opportunity is perfectly suited to candidates experienced in X-ray techniques and the operation of radiologic equipment.

Schedule:

• 3x12 day shifts
• Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• State license/permit to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable)
• Proven experience performing X-ray imaging in a healthcare setting
• Demonstrated understanding of radiation safety protocols and standards
• Proficiency with imaging technology and medical record documentation systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray procedures as ordered by medical providers, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
• Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment for optimal results
• Maintain proper documentation of procedures and ensure accurate record-keeping within electronic systems
• Prepare, set up, and maintain radiologic equipment according to established protocols and safety guidelines
• Review images for clarity/diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists as needed
• Adhere to facility infection prevention and control measures
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and answer questions

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
