As a key member of the imaging team, youll perform diagnostic X-ray procedures under physician protocols across the lifespanfrom neonates to geriatrics. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with flexible hours
Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required
- Ohio Department of Health Radiologic Technologist (RT:R) license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of digital and analog X-ray equipment, PACS, and radiology information systems
- Effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service excellence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
- Prior experience as a Registered X-Ray Technologist preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures following ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely principles
- Provide compassionate, age-specific care to a diverse patient population
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, privacy, and compliance protocols
- Ensure accurate documentation and quality control
- Support department operations with administrative skills, including accurate billing code entry
- Mentor students and new staff (after one year of experience)
