Job Description

An experienced X-ray technologist is needed for a critical role at a renowned Level 1 trauma center. This opportunity is perfect for a skilled professional with a background in extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax imaging, and trauma or surgery environments. The position is based in Carmel, IN, and offers a contract engagement with a reputable medical institution supporting multiple operating rooms, intensive care units, and a high-volume emergency department.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic imaging
  • Proficient in imaging extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax
  • Experience in emergency room (ER), operating room (OR), level 1 trauma centers, and surgery with C-Arm equipment
  • Certification: BLS and ARRT required; Indiana license pending is acceptable with an expected turnaround of approximately two weeks
  • Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment

Schedule:

  • Night shifts, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts per week (1900 to 0700, Monday through Wednesday)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality X-ray imaging for a broad spectrum of patients and clinical needs
  • Support surgical and trauma care teams with precise diagnostic imaging
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced trauma environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient care and workflow efficiency
