Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in X-ray and CT imaging to join a dynamic medical team in Carbondale, Colorado. This contract position offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, providing a range of diagnostic imaging services across multiple specialties including oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and various outpatient clinics.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Full-time, Friday through Monday
  • Four 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM to 6:30 PM)
  • On-call shifts as needed
  • 50/50 split between X-ray and CT imaging

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including fluoroscopy, OR imaging, orthopedics, X-rays, and CT scans
  • Deliver high-quality imaging to support patient care in a 78-bed hospital and affiliated clinics
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to established protocols
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Flu vaccine mandatory (no exemptions)
  • Proven experience in various radiology modalities including fluoroscopy and CT
  • Ability to work independently with confidence in a sometimes hectic clinical environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient care excellence

This position is a contract opportunity requiring candidates to reside at least 75 miles away from the facilitys location to ensure compliance with radius rules.
