Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position; flexible scheduling may be available depending on the facility needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform high-quality X-ray examinations per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for patient care records and imaging results.
  • Adhere strictly to radiology safety practices, including infection control and radiation protection standards.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive patient care.
  • Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Support continuous workflow improvements by participating in department quality initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification and eligibility for Massachusetts state licensure.
  • Prior experience in an acute care or hospital imaging environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
  • Familiarity with the latest X-ray technology and imaging protocols.
