This part-time role is ideal for an experienced Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech who thrives in a clinical environment and is committed to maintaining exceptional standards in diagnostic imaging.
Schedule/Hours:
- Part-time: 24 hours per week
- Alternating schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (7:00am 3:30pm)
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7:00am 3:30pm)
Desired Qualifications:
- Current ARRT Certification (R) required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience operating X-ray equipment and performing radiologic procedures
- Proficiency in following and enforcing radiation safety standards
- Solid communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members
- Adaptable and organized with attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality digital X-ray procedures as ordered by medical staff
- Prepare patients for imaging, thoroughly explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
- Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Accurately document imaging results and update patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care
- Monitor for and respond to any adverse reactions during imaging
