An opportunity is available for an experienced X-ray technologist skilled in diagnostic imaging within a radiology or cardiology setting. This contract position offers a dedicated night shift schedule and requires a strong commitment to patient care and accurate imaging practices.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an X-ray technologist
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Registered) strict requirement
- Proven expertise in diagnostic imaging with a focus on X-ray techniques
- No first-time technologists accepted unless possessing 3+ years of experience
- Ability to work a fixed night shift schedule without weekend requirements
- Willingness to comply with local radius requirements within 100 miles
Location: This role is located in the Arlington, Tennessee area, offering proximity to a vibrant regional community known for its welcoming atmosphere and accessibility to larger metropolitan hubs. While locals are not accepted for this assignment, candidates within the specified radius are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging in accordance with facility protocols and safety regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results and patient comfort
- Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to quality control standards
- Document patient information and imaging procedures thoroughly and accurately
- Work assigned night shift (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM), Monday through Friday, providing consistent coverage and support
