A skilled X-Ray Technologist is needed to support overnight radiology services in a busy hospital setting. This contract position requires 2+ years of experience performing diagnostic imaging with a strong emphasis on X-ray proficiency. Candidates must hold a current ARRT (R) certification, with no exceptions for less experienced technologists.
Location
The position is based in Arlington, Tennessee, within a 100-mile local radius requirement. This role does not accept first-time technologists without significant prior experience and is set for an overnight schedule from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of X-ray imaging experience required
- Current ARRT (R) certification strictly required
- Prior experience in a hospital radiology department preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
- Must reside within 100 miles of Arlington, TN
- No block schedule accommodations; set schedule only
- Weekend shifts are not required
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging according to hospital protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records of imaging studies and patient information
- Operate imaging equipment with precision and care
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for accurate diagnostics
Work Schedule:
- Night shift, Monday through Friday
- 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM (5 shifts per week, 8 hours each)
