Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting patient care with expertise in imaging as an X-ray Technologist. This contract opportunity will utilize your specialized skills in radiologic technology in a fast-paced clinical setting, ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging for diverse patient populations.

Schedule:

  • MondayThursday
  • 9:00 PM 6:30 AM

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Valid state licensure for radiologic technology, as applicable
  • Comprehensive experience performing X-ray procedures using digital and conventional modalities
  • Strong understanding of patient safety, ALARA principles, and infection control protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail in image acquisition and documentation
  • Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare team members

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality X-ray images as ordered by licensed providers
  • Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns
  • Implement proper radiation protection measures for both patients and staff
  • Maintain accurate records of performed procedures and adhere to all privacy/confidentiality requirements
  • Troubleshoot equipment and ensure all machinery is maintained and safely operational
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to deliver coordinated patient care
