As a travel sonographer specializing in vascular ultrasound, youll have the chance to expand your expertise by collaborating with seasoned healthcare professionals in a diverse clinical setting. Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) with specialization in vascular ultrasound (RVT or RVS credentials strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience performing a full range of vascular imaging procedures, including carotid, venous, and arterial studies
- Proficient with modern ultrasound equipment and PACS systems
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly to new workflows and clinical environments
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Independently perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to provide timely diagnostic results
- Maintain meticulous records and adhere to academic, safety, and quality assurance protocols
- Assist in patient education and preparation
