Job Description
Deliver high-quality vascular imaging services in a busy clinic setting, working alongside skilled professionals in both outpatient and inpatient environments serving all age groups. This contract role requires comprehensive vascular ultrasound expertise, providing essential diagnostic support to multifaceted vascular cases including PVD, CAD, venous insufficiency, and renal transplant scenarios.
Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00am5:00pm)
- No on-call or call-back requirements
- Weekend rotation for Vascular Ultrasound (8:00am5:00pm, as scheduled)
- Occasional floating to an outpatient lab at a nearby facility may be required
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years dedicated vascular ultrasound experience
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT, ARDMS) OR Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS, CCI)
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Able to perform a broad range of exams, including carotid, arterial/venous duplex, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, aortic and renal studies, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis and bypass graft assessments
- Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient vascular cases, supporting a caseload of 812 patients daily
- First-time travelers welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive vascular ultrasound assessments ensuring high diagnostic accuracy
- Document findings accurately in EPIC and VascuPro
- Provide technical consultation and collaborate closely with physicians and peers
- Float to secondary outpatient setting as necessary
- Uphold departmental standards for safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care
