Job Description
Advance your clinical skills in a dynamic vascular ultrasound environment serving both outpatient and inpatient populations across all ages. This contract opportunity specializes in comprehensive vascular imaging services with support from an experienced, collaborative team.
Schedule & Hours
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend rotation required: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM coverage (shared among team)
- No on-call or call-back requirements
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years dedicated vascular ultrasound experience
- Current BLS certification
- ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or CCI RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR is necessary
- Demonstrated experience with carotid, arterial, venous, DVT/reflux studies, vein mapping, and advanced vascular procedures (e.g., renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, hemodialysis grafts, bypass grafts)
- Experience with departmental-specific equipment: Philips Epic Elite, Parks PVR/segmental pressure machines, VascuPro reporting system
- Flexibility to float to the outpatient lab in High Point if needed
- Open to candidates new to travel assignments
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies, interpreting and documenting results accurately using EPIC and VascuPro
- Collaborate with department leadership, physicians, and clinical peers to support optimal patient care and workflow
- Ensure proper patient identification and safety measures for all procedures
- Prioritize quality, efficiency, and compassion in all patient interactions
- Contribute to a positive team culture that values traveler integration and teamwork
- Follow facility standards, including black scrub attire and free parking protocols
