Job Description
Seeking an experienced professional skilled in Vascular Ultrasound imaging for a contract position located in Corning, NY. This role involves performing adult cardiac sonography with some preferred experience in NICU/Pediatric echocardiography, although pediatric background is not mandatory.
Responsibilities include conducting 6-8 echocardiograms per shift, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic support. The standard schedule comprises an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with a weekend call rotation occurring once every six weeks.
Key aspects of the weekend call:
- Call shift begins Friday at 4:00 PM and continues through Monday at 7:00 AM
- Saturday call hours are from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- One evening call per week is also required
- The weekend call schedule excludes additional weekday call duties
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in vascular ultrasound imaging techniques
- Experience with adult cardiac echocardiography essential
- NICU or pediatric echocardiography experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to handle multiple echocardiograms per shift efficiently
- Strong communication and patient care skills
