Job Description

Specializing in vascular ultrasound imaging, this role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a professional clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive and accurate echocardiogram studies, utilizing advanced technical skills and sound clinical judgment. Youll interact with patients and colleagues, ensuring precise diagnostic results and a positive imaging experience.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position (duration discussed during interview process)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential required
  • Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program focused in echocardiography
  • Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a registered echocardiographer, with demonstrated expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Excellent organization, time management, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in every aspect of the job

  • Perform quality echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound studies with high attention to patient comfort and diagnostic accuracy
  • Ensure all documentation is detailed, complete, and compliant with established standards
