Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging with a focus on vascular studies in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position offers a 13-week opportunity to utilize your vascular certification and expertise in ultrasound technology. The role involves working closely with the imaging department, utilizing Epic for documentation, and supporting patient care across multiple shifts.
Key Qualifications:
- Vascular ultrasound certification required
- Proficient in general ultrasound imaging techniques
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including nights and on-call rotation
- Strong communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular and general ultrasound examinations with accuracy and compassion
- Document procedures and results using Epic software
- Participate in designated on-call rotations; call is required every third Monday night from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic and treatment goals
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Schedule/Hours:
- 4 shifts of 8 hours and 1 shift of 9 hours per week
- Herrin location shifts: Sunday and Monday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Hospital-based shifts: Tuesday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Thursday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM
