Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Watertown, New York. This is a great opportunity for a night-shift sonographer who is comfortable working independently and adaptable to a dynamic hospital environment.
Location: Watertown, NY
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (schedule details to be discussed during interview)
Work Week: Thursday through Wednesday
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required
Floating: Required within department and to support patient care needs
On-Call: Not specified
Job Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across a variety of patient populations
Produce high-quality images and ensure accurate documentation for physician interpretation
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnoses
Maintain equipment and follow all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
Adapt to different units and workflows as needed through floating assignments
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound experience preferred
ARDMS certification required (or equivalent)
BLS certification required
Ability to work independently on night shift
Strong clinical and communication skills
Additional Requirements:
100-mile radius rule applies no local candidates
Travelers who have worked more than one year at this facility must wait one year before returning
Permanent staff must wait two years before returning as a traveler
Work Environment:
Hospital-based setting with a diverse patient population
Collaborative team environment with support from radiology and clinical staff
