An opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist skilled in general ultrasound imaging to provide exceptional diagnostic services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This travel position offers diverse patient care experiences, including pediatric, adult, and high-acuity cases, utilizing advanced imaging technology.

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations on inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and pediatric populations.
  • Utilize GE Logiq 10 equipment and EMR system EPIC for accurate imaging and documentation.
  • Manage patient flow with an average of 1-2 patients per hour while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and time management skills to coordinate effectively with radiologists and healthcare teams.
  • Adapt flexibly to floating assignments between departments as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Active BLS certification required; ARDMS-AB credential preferred.
  • Proven ability to perform procedures accurately and push/pull equipment safely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to accept first-time travelers who meet experience criteria.

Schedule:

  • Varying shifts every two weeks with weekend rotations based on departmental needs.
  • No major holiday or on-call requirements.
