Key Qualifications:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in conducting general ultrasound procedures independently
- Excellent patient care and communication abilities
- Capability to adapt to new systems and protocols
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and best clinical practices
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns before, during, and after procedures
- Accurately document images and findings in patient records
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and report technical issues as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
