Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Current certification (RDMS or equivalent) required
- Demonstrated experience performing a variety of general ultrasound exams
- Ability to interpret and adjust imaging based on physician and patient needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient comfort and effective teamwork
- Must maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols at all times
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations, ensuring optimal image capture
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain processes for clarity and reassurance
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical staff to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging
- Document all procedures accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to guarantee operational safety and efficiency
- Support a patient-centered approach, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process

$2,559 - $2,698/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
