This role provides diagnostic ultrasound services within a dynamic healthcare setting, supporting a range of routine and special procedures. Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract (start date: 5/11/2026)
- 8-hour day shifts, MondayFriday (8 a.m.5 p.m.)
- 40 hours/week (first 2 weeks: no guaranteed hours)
- Possible weekend call and 7 on-call days/month with flexibility
Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science degree
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (any of the following: ARRT-VS, RDMS-AB, OB/GYN, RVT, PS, MSKS, or BR)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- OB/GYN credentials preferred; must be proficient in 2nd/3rd trimester exams
- Upper and lower DVT scanning experience required
Responsibilities:
- Independently perform a variety of diagnostic and special ultrasound exams
- Assist physicians directly during procedures
- Deliver outstanding patient care, ensuring safety and comfort
- Adhere strictly to governing agency standards and protocols
- Document and manage patient data using EPIC EMR
