In Redwood, you'll work alongside seasoned healthcare teams, gaining exposure to a range of imaging techniques and patient populations. This experience offers a chance to observe diverse workplace practices and leadership styles, building a well-rounded resume and preparing you for greater roles within your field.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 am 4:00 pm
- On-call: average of one night per week and every fourth weekend
Key Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification
- Credentialed by ARRT, ARDMS, or CCI
- Graduate of an accredited sonographer program
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant ultrasound experience including general, cardiovascular, OB, and breast imaging
- Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from assignment location
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform general and specialized ultrasound procedures for a diverse patient population
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure medical imaging equipment is handled according to safety and infection control guidelines
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Participate in rotating call schedule as assigned
