Job Description

Seeking a skilled ultrasound sonographer experienced in general imaging to support patient care across two prestigious medical centers in Quincy, MA. This unique contract opportunity offers a dynamic work environment splitting duties between a specialized eye and ear hospital and a renowned general hospital.

Work Schedule: Sunday 8:00 AM 6:30 PM at General Hospital Monday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM at Eye & Ear Hospital Thursday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM at Eye & Ear Hospital Saturday 8:00 AM 6:30 PM at General Hospital

Core Responsibilities: Perform head and neck ultrasound exams using detailed protocols at the eye and ear hospital. Participate in ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies and possibly OR guidance, using Philips Epiq Elite equipment. Conduct routine general ultrasound exams, including transplanted liver and kidney assessments, DVT exams (upper and lower extremities), and routine imaging at the general hospital. Collaborate closely with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic information. Experience with pediatric ultrasound exams is considered a valuable asset.

Qualifications: Proficient in general ultrasound imaging with proven experience in head and neck sonography. Comfortable working with advanced ultrasound systems such as Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10s. Strong ability to adhere to imaging protocols and perform ultrasound-guided procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Pediatric imaging experience is a plus but not required.
