Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for an ultrasound technologist with expertise in general imaging, pediatrics, and OB/GYN ultrasound. Candidates with additional vascular ultrasound experience are highly valued. The position requires flexible availability to cover on-call shifts, ensuring comprehensive patient care throughout the assignment.

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Schedule and Assignment Details:

  • Contract duration: 12 weeks
  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • On-call availability required
  • Position based at a main hospital campus in a nearby city

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques
  • Experience with pediatric and OB/GYN ultrasound exams
  • Vascular ultrasound skills strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and maintain detailed patient records
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations according to established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain equipment and perform quality assurance as necessary
  • Respond appropriately to on-call calls and emergencies

This contract opportunity is not open to local travelers. Candidates must be able to travel or temporarily relocate to the assignment area.
