- Travel assignment; specific shift details to be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound diagnostic exams in accordance with physician orders
- Complete studies efficiently, utilizing downtime to assist colleagues as needed
- Ensure all exam charges and 5-day late lists are checked daily in the ultrasound department
- Organize workload during high-volume periods and communicate pending exams and critical information to team members
- Assist physicians with radiology procedures, fostering a collaborative environment
- Maintain and clean equipment per department policy, ensuring a safe work area
- Adhere to hospital standards regarding attendance, dress code, infection control, and safety
- Participate in required meetings and in-service education
- Provide flexibility and a willingness to assist in other areas of radiology
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified or eligible Sonographer with proficiency in general ultrasound
- Experience operating Philips ultrasound machines is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to prioritize workload and multitask in a busy healthcare setting
