In this dynamic imaging environment, youll work alongside skilled professionals who bring a variety of approaches to patient care, leadership, and technology. The schedule offers flexibility with options for five 8-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts, including on-call and holiday rotations as needed. This flexibility ensures you have time to explore the unspoiled wonders of Alaska, from aurora-lit skies to wilderness excursions, making your downtime as enriching as your workdays.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound imaging
  • ARDMS certification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
  • Skill in patient communication and procedural education
  • Ability to float between clinical areas as needed
  • Commitment to upholding high professional and ethical standards

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform and verify physician-ordered ultrasound procedures
  • Produce quality diagnostic images and ensure timely documentation
  • Educate and comfort patients and their families before, during, and after procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as required
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide care during holidays as scheduled
