Job Description

Schedule:

  • 5x8s day shifts

Qualifications:

  • Current ARDMS certification required
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Minimum of two years' experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in a clinical environment
  • Proficient in general ultrasound imaging, with the ability to accurately perform and document a variety of diagnostic studies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to upholding best practices and safety standards

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound procedures per physician orders, ensuring high image quality for diagnostic interpretation
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures and addressing questions to ensure patient comfort and understanding
  • Maintain accurate and thorough imaging records, enter patient data in associated systems, and adhere to facility protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care and timely results
  • Participate in quality control initiatives and maintain cleanliness and readiness of ultrasound equipment
