As a Sonographer specializing in General Ultrasound, you will perform high-quality diagnostic exams and procedures, ensuring efficient patient care in line with physician orders. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals eager to broaden their horizons by working with state-of-the-art equipmentincluding Philips Epiq and Vasculab ABI machineswithin a collaborative department. Youll gain invaluable experience adapting to varied workflow practices while expanding your network with multidisciplinary colleagues and hospital leadership.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently perform and complete ultrasound studies as ordered
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily exam charges and records
  • Organize workload, manage high-volume periods, and communicate pending exams
  • Assist physicians during radiologic procedures
  • Promote positive department relationships and uphold facility standards
  • Maintain and clean imaging equipment, adhering to safety/infection control protocols
  • Respond promptly to on-call situations and follow attendance guidelines
  • Support radiology team members and participate in hospital meetings and in-services

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certification or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in general ultrasound imaging preferred
  • Knowledge of Philips ultrasound machines is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage high patient volumes and prioritize tasks efficiently
