Job Description

A healthcare facility in Nampa, ID, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general imaging to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care through expert ultrasound imaging services, primarily focusing on OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in OB/GYN and general imaging.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment with precision and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Analyze images and collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain patient records accurately and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RDMS credential by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification is required.
  • ARRT credential is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in general ultrasound imaging, with strong competency in OB/GYN studies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
