Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent)
• Proficient in general ultrasound imaging procedures (abdomen, pelvic, small parts, vascular preferred)
• Minimum of one year recent experience in hospital or outpatient imaging setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptable to new environments and workflows
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare, position, and interact compassionately with patients of all ages
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for optimal patient care
• Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing departmental needs
