Travel MFM Sonographer Charlotte, NC
13-Week Travel Assignment | Day Shift | Outpatient MFM Clinic
We are seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer for a travel assignment in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized outpatient high-risk OB clinic alongside a collaborative team of MFM physicians, APPs, nurses, and experienced sonographers.
Assignment Details:
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday Friday
Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
40 hours per week
No call
No weekends
No holidays
First-time travelers welcome
Facility Highlights:
Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic
10 ultrasound rooms
Average of 10 patients per day per sonographer
Free parking provided
1-week orientation based on experience and skillset
Patient Population:
High-risk OB patients
Multiple gestation pregnancies
TTTS assessments
Advanced maternal age
Maternal pre-existing health conditions
Fetal anomalies
Abnormal fetal growth cases
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience
ARDMS OB certification required
BLS certification required
Experience working with high-risk OB patient populations
Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Fetal Echo certification preferred
Required Skill Set:
Nuchal translucency measurements in 1st trimester scans
Umbilical artery and MCA Dopplers
4-chamber heart views
LVOT / RVOT imaging
Aortic arch and ductal arch imaging
SVC-IVC and 3 vessel view (3VV) acquisition
Technology & Equipment:
EMR: EPIC and ASOBGYN
GE Ultrasound Machines (E8 & Expert 22)
Trophon equipment
