An opportunity is available for a skilled ultrasound professional specializing in cardiac imaging to provide comprehensive cardiology services. This role focuses on performing detailed cardiac ultrasound examsincluding 2D, M-mode, Doppler color, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and stress echocardiographyto assess cardiac structure and function. The position requires precision, promptness, and effective communication with physicians, especially when critically abnormal findings arise.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cardiac ultrasound examinations on inpatients and outpatients, delivering accurate evaluations of cardiac function.
• Generate preliminary interpretations to identify urgent or critical abnormalities, ensuring prompt notification of the attending physician.
• Clean and disinfect TEE probes following strict infection control protocols.
• Document and report all procedural outcomes comprehensively.
• Provide emergency echocardiography services on a call basis outside of regular hours.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records in compliance with service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support cardiology services.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging with a focus on cardiac applications.
• Experience performing and interpreting 2D, M-mode, Doppler color, TEE, and stress echocardiography.
• Strong understanding of infection control procedures related to cardiac ultrasound equipment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams.
