Job Description

Advanced Ultrasound Technologist opportunity available in High Point, NC, offering a dynamic environment within a teaching hospital setting. This contract role provides the chance to apply your acute care ultrasound skills in a busy department handling approximately 50 exams daily. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of acute care experience and hold national certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems.
  • Assist with patient transport within the department during the day.
  • Participate in weekend rotations, holidays, and on-call shifts as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • National certification such as ARDMS, ARRT-US, AB, or RVTS required.
  • Proficient with Siemens Acuson ultrasound equipment.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system is preferred.

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Weekend rotation based on departmental needs.
  • Holiday coverage expected for approximately 75% of holidays during the assignment.
  • Shift times vary according to patient volume and requisition.
  • Two-day departmental orientation.
  • Manager approval required for return to office (RTO).
