This position in Grafton gives you the opportunity to grow professionally in a dedicated Level III Trauma Center and Level II NICU, broadening your resume by managing a wide diversity of cases and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team using leading technology.
Professionals in this role will enhance their skill set working with both inpatient and outpatient populations, mainly adults, while performing OB, pelvic, vascular, ABI, reflux studies, venous insufficiency mapping, carotid, and small parts ultrasounds. This facility encourages career growth by accepting first-time travelers (with two years' experience) and offers exposure to multiple workplace practices, including independent overnight work and working closely with department leadership.
During downtime, enjoy the area's riverside parks, local eateries, shops, or take short trips to nearby Milwaukee or Lake Michigans sandy shores.
Typical Schedule:
- Varied shift times: 8, 9, 10, or 12-hour shifts (Days, Mids, Nights based on assignment)
- Weekend rotation: 1 weekend per contract (or every weekend if specified per assignment)
- Holiday: On-call for 1 holiday per contract
- 7 days of approved RTO per contract
- Schedules are made several weeks in advance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years recent ultrasound general experience
- ARDMS and BLS required
- OB Certification required for overnight shifts
- Experience with EPIC (preferred)
- Competence with OB, pelvic, vascular, ABIs, reflux studies, mapping, carotids, small parts
- Comfortable working solo during nights (if applicable)
- Willingness to float for portable studies
Responsibilities:
- Independently perform a range of ultrasounds for adult inpatient and outpatient populations
- Document in EPIC and operate GE ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other allied staff
- Maintain high standards in patient safety and confidentiality
- Occasionally float for portable exams on the floor
