Within a fast-paced imaging department featuring four ultrasound rooms (dedicated spaces in the department, ED, and Breast Imaging), youll handle an array of cases, primarily with adult inpatient and outpatient populations, plus a smaller mix of pediatric work and OB, vascular, and small part exams. Nights offer opportunities for autonomy and responsibility, as you may take the lead as the sole US Tech, supported by innovative technology and robust interdisciplinary resources during the day.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience (required)
  • ARDMS certification (OB Certification required for overnight shifts)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience performing OB, pelvic, vascular, ABIs, reflux, venous insufficiency mapping, carotids, and small parts
  • Comfort as a solo practitioner overnight
  • EPIC electronic medical records proficiency preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive ultrasound exams for varied patient populations (inpatient/outpatient, adults, occasional pediatrics)
  • Perform portables as needed on the floor
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapists, hospitalists, RRTs, and remote radiologists
  • Document exam findings accurately using EPIC and PACS (McKesson)

Schedule/Hours:

  • Varied shift options, including 8, 9, 10, or 12-hour schedules; may include days, mids, nights, or every weekend
  • Weekend rotation: 1 per contract (with possible every weekend option)
  • One week orientation with a dedicated preceptor
  • 1 holiday on call per contract
  • Up to 7 days approved RTO per contract
