Job Description

Deliver high-quality care as an experienced Ultrasound Technician in a clinic-based role. This contract opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic skills and expertise in general ultrasound procedures.

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited AMA school for ultrasound or radiologic technology
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Active State License as a general radiographer, as applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in MFM clinic settings (non-hospital)
• Ability to perform a wide range of sonographic exams, including abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal studies
• Experience with small parts scanning (thyroid, breast, scrotum)
• Skilled in ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely and accurate ultrasound diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the guidance of a Radiologist and established departmental protocols
• Conduct a variety of sonographic procedures, adapting to the specific needs of each patient
• Accurately document procedures, findings, and patient records in compliance with standards
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent requests

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
