Qualifications

  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent)
  • 1+ year of recent experience in General Ultrasound Imaging
  • Strong knowledge of sonographic procedures and patient care protocols
  • BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Accurately document and report findings to the appropriate medical staff
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound imaging equipment according to best practices
  • Collaborate with other imaging and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
