Qualifications
- Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent)
- 1+ year of recent experience in General Ultrasound Imaging
- Strong knowledge of sonographic procedures and patient care protocols
- BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Accurately document and report findings to the appropriate medical staff
- Maintain and operate ultrasound imaging equipment according to best practices
- Collaborate with other imaging and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
