As a vital member of this imaging team, youll be immersed in varied inpatient and outpatient environments. This full-time role is designed with your flexibility in mind, offering a choice between five 8-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts each week. Some on-call and holiday shifts may be required for comprehensive, round-the-clock care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general ultrasound imaging, ensuring all protocols and procedures are meticulously followed.
- Utilize independent judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Accurately verify provider orders and maintain detailed documentation.
- Educate and reassure patients and families about procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes.
- Float between inpatient and outpatient settings as needed.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in general ultrasound imaging.
- ARDMS certification preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in performing procedures independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
