Your role may include floating between inpatient and outpatient settings, fostering adaptability and comprehensive experience.
Schedule
- Five 8-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts weekly
- On-call and holiday shifts as needed
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in General Ultrasound Imaging
- Current ARDMS certification (or eligibility)
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to high-quality imaging and accurate documentation
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound procedures based on provider orders, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Deliver clear instructions and education to patients and their families
- Produce diagnostic-quality images and present with relevant patient data for interpretation
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and comply with departmental standards
- Participate in invasive or interventional procedures if indicated
- Support quality care through professional conduct and teamwork
