Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with variable hours in a dynamic pediatric setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Current ARDMS certification or eligibility.
- Experience working in pediatric environments is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to new protocols quickly.
- Valid BLS certification.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound studies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Interpret physicians orders for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
- Accurately document findings, maintain patient records, and adhere to hospital policies.
- Operate sonographic equipment and ensure maintenance and cleanliness of work area.
- Support and educate patients and family members throughout the imaging process.
