Job Description
A healthcare role is available in Endicott, NY, focusing on cardiac ultrasound imaging for both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services. This contract position requires proficiency in cardiac ultrasound techniques such as 2D, M-mode, Doppler color flow imaging, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and stress echocardiography. The objective is to deliver accurate and timely cardiac evaluations supporting patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams evaluating cardiac structure and function.
- Interpret imaging results promptly to identify critical abnormalities and alert physicians.
- Clean and disinfect TEE probes following infection control protocols.
- Record and report procedural outcomes accurately.
- Respond to stat or emergency echocardiography calls, including outside regular hours.
- Maintain complete and precise documentation adhering to service standards.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
