Qualifications:
- Current ARDMS certification in General Ultrasound
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams, including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
- Collaborate with physicians to analyze and document imaging results
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and follow all department protocols
- Adhere to all HIPAA and compliance standards
