Qualifications
- ARDMS certification in General Ultrasound (or equivalent)
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a clinical imaging setting
- Proficiency in performing general ultrasound exams (abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, etc.)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new hospital systems and protocols
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations in line with physician orders
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions regarding procedures
- Accurately document findings and maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely diagnostic information
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed
