Qualifications and Skills:

• Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Experience performing high-quality general ultrasound examinations
• Proficiency with contemporary ultrasound equipment and imaging protocols
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and scanning techniques
• Detail-oriented approach to capturing images and documenting findings
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is advantageous

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible shifts may be available based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of general ultrasound exams, ensuring accuracy and clarity of images
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging processes, and ensure comfort throughout the exam
• Collaborate with radiologists and other physicians to review images and ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, following all safety and infection control protocols
• Accurately document procedures and upload images to the appropriate medical record systems
• Assist with image archiving and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
