A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound General Technologist specializing in imaging, located in Caldwell, ID. This contract position offers a structured daytime schedule and the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care using advanced ultrasound diagnostic techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a focus on OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT).
- Use imaging equipment proficiently to capture necessary diagnostic images and data.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for referring physicians.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with specialties in OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT certification preferred.
- Proven expertise in ultrasound general imaging techniques.
- Strong patient care skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule/Hours:
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
