Job Description

This opportunity offers a dynamic role in diagnostic ultrasound imaging, focused on delivering high-quality care across two respected medical centers. This contract position involves working between two hospitals, with specialized responsibilities tailored to each location.

Schedule:

  • Sunday: 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (Hospital 1)
  • Monday: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Hospital 2)
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Hospital 2)
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (Hospital 1)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform head and neck ultrasound examinations following detailed protocols.
  • Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies and potential operating room guidance.
  • Conduct routine general ultrasound examinations, including transplanted liver, transplanted kidney, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) scans.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis.
  • Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment such as Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10s.
  • Pediatric ultrasound experience is advantageous.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in general ultrasound imaging.
  • Experience with head and neck ultrasound procedures.
  • Proficiency in ultrasound-guided biopsy techniques preferred.
  • Familiarity with transplant and vascular ultrasound, including DVT exams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to imaging protocols.
