Job Description

An opportunity for a skilled ultrasound technologist to provide critical imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting is available in Bossier City, LA. This contract position involves working with a diverse range of patients in urgent and critical care environments, requiring proficiency in general ultrasound imaging and the ability to use advanced imaging systems effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Current ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging
  • Experience working in emergency room (ER), intensive care unit (ICU), pediatric (Peds), and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) settings
  • Familiarity with portable ultrasound equipment
  • Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system, as well as GE and PACS imaging technology
  • Willingness as a first-time traveler is accepted for this role

Schedule and Responsibilities:

  • Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
  • Rotate on-call duties after shift hours (post 11:30 PM)
  • Weekend on-call rotation covering 24-hour periods
  • Perform ultrasound imaging across multiple hospital units, including ER, ICU, and pediatrics
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams and provide timely, accurate diagnostic imaging
